Xiaolangdi Project is a comprehensive utilization of a giant reservoir on the mainstream of the Yellow River. The dam site is located 13n kilometers downstream of Sanmenxia. The barrage is a clay and earth-dam earthen dam with a total length of 1,500 meters, a dam height of 152 meters, a project volume of 587,700,000 cubic meters, a total storage capacity of 12.7 billion cubic meters, and a 6 dollar N.5 meter diameter guide. Flood hole; total installed capacity of 1.56 million kilowatts. The Yellow River Conservancy Commission Survey, Planning, and Design Institute completed the preliminary design report and general budget estimate of the project in September 1983. From January to October 1985, the preliminary design and estimate were jointly prepared with Becket Earth and Mining Company. The joint calculation of the Sino-U.S. design uses the “Beckert company approach”, which does not follow the existing domestic methods.
