In the body, type A spermatogonia have three fates: one is to maintain type A spermatogonial stem cells; the other is to differentiate into intermediate and type B spermatogonia; the third is apoptosis. FSH, stem cell factor (SCF) and its receptor c-kit play an important role in the regulation of spermatogonial development. The c-kit receptor has now become a hallmark of type A spermatogonia. Spermatogonial cell culture technology research has not yet achieved the desired results. Important advances in the study of spermatogonial transplantation are of great importance for the study of the interaction between supporting cells and spermatogenic cells in the testis and the restoration of the damaged spermatogenesis.
