刘昌明院士是国际知名的水文水资源学家,长期倡导和力行水循环、水环境、水生态、水资源和水灾害的研究,将水文学的地球物理、工程和地理方向相结合,提出了水文循环研究的微观与宏观系统观点和方法,发展了较为完善的“五水”转化的理论模式,构建了全新的分布式水文模型系统,并对华北平原的节水农业发展、“南水北调”工程环境效应、缓解黄河断流的对策等国家重大应用问题,提出了系统性的科学观点和有效的决策咨询意见。本文仅从实验水文学、稀缺资料地区水文预测和水文模型三方面,探讨刘昌明院士跨越50多年的研究工作,从中可以体会出先生研究的系统性思想和不断创新发展的精神。
Academician Liu Changming is an internationally renowned hydrology and water resource scientist who has long advocated and carried out research on water cycle, water environment, aquatic ecology, water resources and water disasters. He combined hydrological geophysics, engineering and geography to propose a hydrological cycle The micro and macroscopic perspectives and methods of research, the more perfect theoretical model of “five water” transformation has been developed, a new distributed hydrological model system has been established, and the development of water-saving agriculture in the North China Plain, "Engineering environment effect, measures to ease the Yellow River cut off and other major national issues, put forward a systematic scientific point of view and effective decision-making advice. This article only discusses the research work of academician Liu Changming over 50 years from the aspects of experimental hydrology, hydrological prediction of scarce data area and hydrological model, from which we can understand the systematic thinking and the spirit of continuous innovation and development.
