铁路修进被称为“世界屋脊”的西藏,这是人类铁路建设史上的伟大创举。美国现代火车旅行家保罗·泰鲁在《游历中国》一书中写道,“有昆仑山脉在,铁路就永远到不了拉萨”。青藏铁路终于要全线通车了!从民主革命先驱孙中山先生提出最初设想,到历经新中国几代领导人的几番沉浮决策,前后花费了近百年时间。它的全线贯通,必然具有跨世纪意义。对于这条“钢铁动脉”,人们赋予了它一个美丽的名字——天路。

The modern American traveler Paul Tairu wrote in his book Traveling in China: “There are Kunlun Mountains and the railway will never reach Lhasa.” The Qinghai-Tibet Railway finally opened to traffic. From the initial assumption made by Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the pioneer of the democratic revolution, it took nearly a hundred years before and after several ups and downs of decision-making by the leaders of several generations of new China. Its full line, it must have a cross-century significance. For this “steel artery”, people have given it a beautiful name - Heavenly Road.
