2007年3月28日,AMD在北京举行的主题为“开放平台·卓越计算”的创新技术趋势大会上表示:“AMD的创新技术和发展趋势主要涵盖两大优势:一是开放平台为最终用户提供顶级视觉体验;二是为企业用户提供从手持设备、客户机一直到数据中心的低功耗、高性能的解决方案。”此举标志着AMD在成功合并ATI之后,将整合其在处理器、图形显示芯片、芯片组方面的综合实力,为用户提供高性能、低功耗的个人与企业计算解决方案。
