2019年9月16日、20日,所罗门群岛、基里巴斯接连宣布同台湾断绝所谓“外交关系”.短短5天,两“邦”“断交”,台湾舆论一片哗然.蔡英文、民进党当局气急败坏,指责大陆“打压台湾”、“影响台湾选举”、“挑战国际秩序”,还叫喊“力抗中国打压”、“谴责中国暴行”,企图借机煽动台湾民众对大陆的敌意.然而岛内民意并未随之起舞,舆论指出拒不接受“九二共识”的蔡英文才是“始作俑者”;提出台湾当政者与其倚仗外国势力撑腰和花大把钞票“巩固邦交”,不如好好改善两岸关系、增加互信.
