业余学校中的学生是成年人,他们与普通中学的学生的心理特征是不一样的。他们的记忆力较差,因此我把指数函数与对数函数结合在一起对比着讲了,这样便于学员记忆。成年人的实用观念比青年学生来得强,如果在讲一些性质、定理时,马上还看不出它到底有什么用处(尽管教师强调到以后有用处),那么成年人在学这些性质、定理时,便不能自觉地去掌握它,甚至会产生“学这个没意思”的思想;因此我把对数的一些性质(积、商、幂、方根的对数)放在常用对数中来讲了,作为计算对数尾数的重要根据,这样就符合了学员的心理特征。法则多了,成年人容易混淆,他们不喜欢头绪多,因此我把小于1与大于1的正数的对数计算
The students in the amateur school are adults. Their psychological characteristics are different from those of ordinary middle school students. There are more rules, adults are confusing, they don’t like much clues, so I calculate the logarithms of positive numbers less than 1 and greater than 1.
