2016年12月9日,上海科技馆的一场科普讲座现场,一块鹅卵石大小的琥珀呈现在大家眼前。灯光下,这块琥珀散发着黄澄澄的光泽,中间还有一条毛茸茸的东西。来自中国地质大学的邢立达博士告诉大家:这就是恐龙的尾巴标本。这真是太神奇啦!这块琥珀不一般时间回到2013年,邢博士注意到缅甸开采的琥珀不少含有古昆虫、植物和羽毛,于是,他多次去缅甸考察,寻找琥珀里有值得研究的古生物痕迹。原来,白垩纪时期,缅甸就是一片热带雨林,很多巨大的树会流出大量的树脂,所以会出现很多含有动植物的琥珀。缅甸保存了世界上最
December 9, 2016, Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, a science lecture site, a pebble-shaped amber presented in front of everyone. Under the lights, this amber exudes a yellowish sheen, with a furry thing in the middle. Dr. Xing Lida from China University of Geosciences tells everyone this is the tail specimen of a dinosaur. This is really amazing! This unusual amber back in 2013, Dr. Xing noted that many of Myanmar’s amber mining contains ancient insects, plants and feathers, so he went to Myanmar several times to study, looking for amber worthwhile to study Paleontological traces. It turned out that during the Cretaceous period, Myanmar was a tropical rainforest, a lot of huge trees will flow a lot of resin, so there will be a lot of plants and animals containing amber. Myanmar has preserved most of the world
