2016年11月20至22日,为期三天的2016年全国武术太极拳公开赛总决赛暨全国传统武术精英赛在河南温县陈家沟太极拳文化国际交流中心举行,来自全国各地的41支代表队的140余名选手参加了比赛。本项赛事由国家体育总局武术运动管理中心、中国武术协会主办,旨在弘扬太极文化、打造太极品牌、促进交流学习,同时也是为了适应社会武术发展新形势,推动社会武术向职业化方向发展,在全民健身公共服务体系中发挥武术运动积极作用而举办的一次新型赛事,
