我校是一所有九个初中班、三个高中班的农村普通中学。按教育部规定,一九八一年秋在高一开设了养兔专业课,进行劳动技术教育试点。经过两年时间,这个班的学生在学好文化课的同时,较好地掌握了养兔知识和独立饲养家兔的能力。一九八二年秋,我们又在招收的高一开设了林木嫁接专业课。实践使我们认识到:农村普通中学开设劳动技术课,是全面贯彻党的教育方针,提高教育质量,使教育更好地为农村社会主义现代化建设服务的一项重要措施。农村中学要把双重任务落到实处,必须搞好劳动技术教育。
Our school is a rural ordinary secondary school with all nine junior high school classes and three high school classes. According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education, in the fall of 1981, a special rabbit-raising class was set up at the beginning of the year for pilot labor and technical education. After two years, the students in this class have mastered the knowledge of rabbit breeding and the ability to raise rabbits independently while they are learning good cultural lessons. In the autumn of 1982, we also set up specialized classes for forest grafting in the enrolled high schools. Practice has led us to realize that the establishment of labor and technical courses in ordinary secondary schools in rural areas is an important measure to fully implement the Party’s education policy, improve the quality of education, and make education better serve the modernization of rural socialism. Rural secondary schools must implement the dual tasks and must do a good job in labor and technical education.
