可转位端铣刀的刀具角度,通常是指刀具的前角γ_o,刃倾角λ_s、后角α_o、主偏角K_r,以及副偏角K_r′和副后角α_o′。其中,γ_o和λ_s也可用径向前角γ_f和轴向前角γ_p表示.因此,从几何意义上讲,只要有上述六个角度,就可在刀具坐标系上示出刀具前刀面A_p、后刀面A_α、副后刀面A_α′,主切削刃S和副切削刃S′(通称刀具的三面两刃)的空间位置。图1表示端铣刀的刀具角度,为清晰起见。图上除K_γ′以外,有关副切割刃和副后刀面的其它角度均未示出。
