STS教育是上个世纪末世界各国在理科教育改革中形成的一种新的科学教育理念。在教育目标上,强调学生“科学素养”的普遍提高。在内容构成上,强调各学科知识的综合化。在教学方式上,则更加强调学生的在课堂上的探究与体验。生物学是一门综合性强,与生活生产关系密切的自然科学,教育教学的内容源于生活,最终还是要回到生活中去,在生物教学中渗透STS教育思想具有很好的条件。
STS education is a new concept of science education formed by the countries in the world in the science education reform at the end of the last century.
