The discovery of Renqiu Oilfield in Jizhong Depression occupies a prominent position in the history of petroleum industry in our country. This is the first high-yielding oilfield discovered in China’s ancient Sinian carbonate bed. This discovery has opened up new fields for China’s oil exploration and has shown a new vision. Renqiu Oilfield is structurally a direct buried for the Tertiary, by the Sinian Wushan Mountain group of ancient buried hill. Oil and gas are stored in siliceous dolomite-dominated carbonate formations. The effective reservoir space is mainly composed of cracks, caves and pores. The distribution of this reservoir space and the clastic rock intergranular pores are significantly different. It is in addition to lithofacies, lithology and so on
