1979—1983年对春性宁麦3号和半冬性淮麦11号在亩产千斤和五百斤(对照)水平下,进行了籽粒发育和灌浆进程的研究。结果表明:(1)籽粒鲜重、长度、宽度和厚度的增长与开花后的天数呈二次曲线关系,其最大值分别在花后29天、26天、25天和28天;籽粒干重的增长与开花后的天数为三次曲线关系,宁麦3号和淮麦11号千斤产量,籽粒干重的最大值分别在花后37天和36天;籽粒含水百分率的变化则与开花后的天数呈极显著的负相关(r=-0.9751)。千斤田小麦比对照的具有灌浆持续时间长、强度大、千粒重高等特点。(2)小麦开花至成熟,节间、叶鞘、叶片等器官干物质的输出量,千斤田小麦的约占穗重36%,而对照的约占43%;抽穗后光合作用干物质积累多少与产量高低,在一定范围内呈极显著的正相关(r=0.9203)。
