畲民作为中国东南历史上异于汉人的人群,自宋元至明清,文人就对其有诸多描述。然而时间越往后,关于畲民的记载也变得越少,其重要的原因就是畲汉的互动与融合,畲汉的这种融合途径是多样的,也是畲汉双向的,其中既有通婚、收养等血缘上的混化,也有互相隐匿的地缘上的融合,更有国家等外力作用下的推进,因此历史上既存在畲融于汉的可能,也有汉融于畲的可能。
