Objective To analyze the changes of blood hormone in children with hand, foot and mouth disease, and to diagnose the effect and value of the disease based on this change. Methods Fifty children with hand-foot-mouth disease were divided into general group and severe group according to the severity of the disease, with 25 cases in each group. Another 25 healthy children were selected as the control group. The blood samples were measured in three groups, and the level of epinephrine and norepinephrine in the blood was measured at the same time, and compared. Results The levels of epinephrine and norepinephrine in the normal group were not significantly different from those in the control group (P> 0.05). The levels of epinephrine and norepinephrine in the severe group were significantly higher than those in the normal group and the norepinephrine group Control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The levels of epinephrine (4.21 ± 0.81) pg / ml and norepinephrine (4.89 ± 0.83) pg / ml in the convalescent group were significantly lower than those in the acute phase (8.96 ± 0.86 and 10.02 ± 0.89, pg / ml, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The levels of epinephrine and norepinephrine in the blood are significantly increased, which can be used as early warning information for hand-foot-mouth disease in children, suggesting prompt and effective treatment should be carried out.
