重要文学理论批评刊物《南方文坛》,近二十多年来一直有一个雷打不动的栏目,叫“今日批评家”。我不知道“今日”二字,是否受到蒂博代《六说文学批评》中“当日的批评,给每日以生命”的启发。但总之,有了“今日批评家”栏目,晚近中国文学批评的状态、质地、话语方式、价值核心等等,的确有了一个相对稳定且可上升到理论高度来凝视的资料依据。实不相瞒,我本人学识浅陋至极尚且受惠于该刊物,并且也曾得到该栏目的抬爱,于是,感激之外,就多了点思索。心想何不系统地以个案形式观照一下当代中国批评家,并以此回应“批评不如人意”的泛泛 An important literary theory criticizes the magazine Southern Literary World for nearly two decades and has always had an unspeakable part called “Critics Today.” I do not know whether the word “Today ” is inspired by the criticism on the day of “Liu Shu literary criticism” in Tibai Dai and daily life. But in short, with the “Critics Today” column, the status, texture, discourse style, value core, etc. of lately Chinese literary criticism do have a data base that is relatively stable and can rise to the theoretical height. To tell you the truth, I learned my knowledge very shallow and benefited from the publication, and I also got the love of the column, so I was grateful to think more. Why do not we think systematically about contemporary Chinese critics in individual cases and respond to the generalization of “criticism is unsatisfactory”?
