通过对河南省信阳市洋河镇建筑工地上的女工人进行调查发现,女工人从事建筑行业看似有违常理的背后,实质是理性选择的结果。并且,利用理性选择理论从宏观和微观两方面分析了影响女工人职业选择的原因。在微观方面,女工人的人力资本和权力资本较弱;在宏观方面,社会性别规范要求女性照顾家庭;两方面的要求使得他们要兼顾家庭和工作。而建筑工地霸权制的生产政体弥合了女工人的要求,最终促成了女工人从事建筑行业的理性选择。
Through the investigation of female workers on construction sites in Yanghe Town, Xinyang City, Henan Province, it is found that the seemingly unconstitutional role of women workers in the construction industry is essentially the result of rational choice. And, using the theory of rational choice, this paper analyzes the reasons that affect the career choices of female workers in macro and micro aspects. At a micro level, women workers have weaker human capital and power capitals; at a macro level, gender norms require women to take care of their families; and both demands make them balanced between family and work. The hegemonic system of production at the construction site, which has bridged the demands of women workers, led to the rational choice of women workers in the construction industry.
