2005年10月27日,在内蒙古黄河段乌海境内发生了一起特大非法捕杀野生动物案件,经乌海市森林公安局参战民警历时8个多月的缜密侦察,终于成功告破。在乌海市公安局和上海市公安局闸北分局的大力协助下,犯罪嫌疑人钱某、郭某、王某、梅某和许某5人分别在乌海市、鄂尔多斯市和上海市等地落入法网,另有4人在逃。
