1998年10月6日至10月11日在中国美术馆二楼展厅展出了“第四届当代中国工笔重彩画大展”。共展出各类风格作品270余件,选自于全国各地送来的作品,其中评选出了金奖作品5幅、银奖作品20幅、铜奖作品20幅、优秀奖30幅。 这次展览的特点是作者年龄跨度大,既有一大批知名的中青年画家,又有大批的青年画家,尤其是一批青年画家颇具实力,令人刮目。 从获奖情况来看,展览的组委会无疑是将金奖之一、解放军艺术学的王天胜的《春晖》视为重中之重的,展览厅主厅最主要的位置给了它,在它的左右分布着其它的获奖作品。 《春晖》是一幅大型方构图作品,画面呈金黄色调、鲜艳灿烂的金红色郁金香以倒睡的S型布局。应该说这种题材、构图以及传统写实的技法都司空见惯,那么为何它又能成为评委会眼中的第一作品呢?我认为不外乎有如下简单理由:“紧紧扣住了时代的主旋律”。在我国现目前形势下,文艺作品宣传主
