对测振传感器进行相对校准或绝对校准,都要求作校准用的振动标准装置中的振动台能提供波形近于理论上正弦的振动运动。根据有关研究报告分析,由振动台台面加速度波形失真引起的加速度校准误差△d_a=±0.36da,其中da为台面加速度失真以百分数计。考虑到振动标准装置的总校准误差还和许多别的因素有关,因此一般均规定波形失真度的数值不大于整个标准装置的校准精度。例如,校准精度为≤±2%时,在装置中工作的振动台的加速度波形失真应不大于2%。
