自从五十年代安徒生的童话的中文译本,以选集和全集的形式先后在中国出版后,欧洲的汉学家,特别是北欧的汉学家,对此感到极大的兴趣.他们认为安徒生童话中的诗意、生动活泼的语言以及安徒生(也是丹麦人民)所特有的幽默感和风趣,在中文方块字中是不好处理的.他们写了不少有关中文译本的书评和论文,在欧洲的一些有关“东方学”的刊物上发表.这里选译了两篇.第一篇是书评,出自名汉学家苏伦·埃格洛(Soren Egerod)教授的手笔.他是当代欧洲著名汉学家之一,丹麦哥本哈根大学东方研究所所长,同时也是小说家,曾任上届丹麦笔会的主席.他研究中国古典文学和近代方言,著有《隆都方言》一书.这篇书评发表在“丹麦、挪威、瑞典东方学会”(Societates Orientales Danica Norvegica Svecia)出版的刊物《东方世界》(Le Monde Oriental)一九六一年第十四卷一、二期合刊上.第二篇是长篇论文《安徒生在中国》(Hans Christian in China)的《后记》(Postscript),作者是挪威奥斯陆大学东方研究所的高级讲师克里斯朵夫·何莫邪博士(Christoph Harbsmeir),他用英文和德文出版了好几部有关中国古文语法的著作.此文发表在“国际安徒生学会”(International Andersen Society)一九八○年出版的丛刊《安徒生研究)(Anderseniana)上.
Since Chinese translations of Andersen’s fairy tales in the 1950s were successively published in China in the form of anthologies and compilations, European sinologists, especially the Nordic sinologists, are greatly interested in that they think the poems in Andersen’s fairy tales , Lively language and Hans Christian Andersen’s (also Danish people) sense of humor and interest in the Chinese box is not good to deal with.
