From January to August, China’s total import and export volume reached 1,875.6 billion U.S. dollars, up 40% over the same period of last year. Among them, exports were 989.7 billion U.S. dollars, up 35.5 percent; imports were 885.8 billion U.S. dollars, up 45.5 percent; and the trade surplus was 103.9 billion U.S. dollars, down 14.6 percent. Month export growth slowed. Light textile products exports decreased slightly. 8
