Doppler tissue imaging is a new technique of echocardiography developed in recent years. It can quantitatively analyze the direction and speed of myocardial movement. From 1994 to 1998, 203 normal children of different ages underwent Doppler tissue imaging of mitral annulus velocities and myocardial velocities.
