2016年7月7日8时许,江苏边防总队训练基地接到驻地党委政府指令,因连夜暴雨,导致南京市雨花台区西善桥街道老街及周边多个小区受灾严重,平均积水达1米,最深处可达1.5米,群众被困屋内急需救援。边防官兵到达现场后,迅速对受灾最为严重的西善桥社区、油坊社区、大众花园小区、竹柳新村等小区进行救援,救援队分成4个小组同步开展工作。期间,出动警力60人,逐户搜寻、手抱肩扛并使用皮划艇、木盆等运载工具,官兵连续奋战12小时,成功转移救助受灾区群众500余人,帮运财产近百万元。目前,受灾群众大部分已被转移至安全地带。 July 7, 2016 At about 8 am, the Jiangsu Border Control Corps training base received instructions from the party committee of the resident station that due to heavy rainstorms, the old streets in the neighborhood of Xishanqiao Street in Yuhuatai District of Nanjing City and several surrounding communities were seriously affected.
