Objective: To study the chemical constituents of black ginseng rhizomes. Methods: Column chromatography was used to separate and the structure was identified by spectroscopic methods. Results: Three iridoids were identified as musaenoside, hawthorn methyl ester and lamalbid. Conclusion: All were isolated from this plant for the first time
