Overview In the early 1980s, the application of cracking catalyst preparation technology produced a new generation of Y-type molecular sieve cracking catalysts containing rare earth (RE) in industry. Nearly 20 sets of FCC units are used in China, and their catalytic rate is much faster than the previous catalysts. The use of a plant on a Type IV plant proved that the degree of cracked crude oil deepened, the recycle ratio decreased from 1.1 to 0.8, the annual processing capacity increased from 600,000 tonnes to 690,000 tonnes, and the yield of light oil increased from 64.2% to 66.7% . The Yumen Refinery is used on a riser FCC unit with an annual processing capacity of 120,000 tons.
