李金林,1925年生,浙江鄞县人,原为上海市昆明中学教师,现任上海市盆景协会副理事长、中国风景园林学会花卉盆景分会委员。1962年起,李金林先生在教学之余开始从事微型盆景研究,并获得成功。70年代初,李金林先生大力倡导陈设于博古架上以体现群体美的微型组合盆景,使其欣赏效果得到了质的飞跃。1979年在北京举办的全国盆景艺术展上,李金林先生送展的微型组合盆景引起了同行的广泛关注与赞赏,《光明日报》对此作了详细的报道;次年出版的《上海龙华盆景》,再次对此作了介绍。从此,微型组合盆景在国内外得到了迅猛的发展,并成为海派盆景的特色之一。
Li Jinlin, born in 1925 in Yinxian County, Zhejiang Province, formerly a teacher at Kunming Middle School in Shanghai. He is currently the vice chairman of Shanghai Bonsai Association and a member of the Flower Bonsai Branch of China Landscape Architecture Society. Since 1962, Mr. Li Jinlin began his research on miniature bonsai while teaching success. In the early 1970s, Mr. Li Jinlin vigorously advocated the miniature combination bonsai set on Bogut to reflect the beauty of the group, making its appreciation a qualitative leap. In 1979, the national bonsai art exhibition held in Beijing, Mr. Li Jinlin presented miniature combination bonsai attracted widespread concern and appreciation of peers, “Guangming Daily” made a detailed report on this; published the following year, “Shanghai Longhua Bonsai” , Again introduced this. Since then, miniature combination of bonsai at home and abroad have been the rapid development and become one of the characteristics of Shanghai bonsai.
