时人前贤对《世说新语》的研究不在少数,如张叔宁《〈世说新语〉整体研究》、范子烨《〈世说新语〉研究》、王能宪《世说新语研究》等,然而多为整体性研究,罕有对单篇的关注,本文试图对其书写的背景加以研究,主要包括两个方面:自古有之的谐谑之风和当下的背景。
