本刊讯在5月20日于北京举办的《新中国计量史》首发式上,首先传达了国务委员王勇对《新中国计量史》出版发行的重要批示。王勇指出,计量是国家重要的技术基础,关系国计民生,《新中国计量史》的出版发行,记录了新中国成立以来计量工作取得的重大成就,汇聚了各时期计量发展的珍贵史料,对于促进计量事业发展具有非常重要的参考价值。
