聚苯硫醚(PPS)是七十年代迅速发展起来的一种具有优良综合性能的新型耐高温热塑性工程塑料。人们对这种新型材料的动态力学性能的研究尚不多而对其非线性粘弹行为(NLVE)的研究尚未见报导。现在着重总结和分析借助TBA技术研究PPS的NLVE行为特征及其影响因素。本工作所用PPS是以-Cl和-SNa为端基,分子量约为5×10~3的线型聚合物,广州市化学试剂二厂生产。使用长春第二材料试验仪器厂生产的NB-1型扭辫仪。气氛为空气,升温速率2℃/分。以玻璃纤维为辫子。把辫子浸溃于未交联PPS(简称UC-PPS)或固相交联PPS(简称SC-PPS)的250℃氯代萘溶液中10分钟,后蒸去溶剂并迅速把PPS熔融后即取出于室温下迅速冷却(由于辫子热容很小,因此这里快速冷却对PPS起了淬火作用)。熔融交联PPS(简称MC-
