Shanghai Coking Plant and France’s Oxysynthese (based in Paris) have established a joint venture with OS Chemical Industries in Shanghai to produce hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) products. The new company plans to start production of H2O2 liquid in early 1999 with a production capacity of 33,000 t/a. The production technology used by Intex (Oxysgnthese, 49.02% shares) is based on lanthanum compounds. New H2O2 installation may be the largest in China
