我国的高师音乐教育主要是在教育体系上沿袭了欧洲音乐中心的教育体系,音乐课程尤其是理论课程过于单一,教学内容只涉及了世界音乐的某一部分或某个特定的时期,因此高师的教学更重视了点的专而忽略了面的广。而多元文化音乐教育的提倡与推行无疑为当代高师音乐教育翻开了崭新的一页。反观高师音乐院校在课程内容上并没有与其接轨,这对高师音乐教育毕业生的就业造成了一定的影响。
