Since the 1990s, the monetary reserve function of silver has been gradually weakened, but its industrial application in the fields of electronic appliances, photographic materials, chemical reagents and chemical materials, handicrafts and jewelry has become increasingly widespread. With China’s accession to the WTO and the liberalization of the silver market, new and higher requirements have been set for the quality of silver products and their adaptability to the market. The current silver standard in our country is no longer suitable for the current silver system and the needs of users. Therefore, it is imminent to amend the silver standard.
