Taking the three cases as an example, this paper discusses the urbanization of rural communities on the edge of cities and their related problems. Each of the three selected cases is representative: Nanji Village is also a representative of Yecheng and Nongnong, Lujiang Village is a long representative of the process of urbanization, and Murauri Village is a representative of the neighborhoods of migrants. Finally, two issues that are common to this type of community are discussed. First, why is this type of community a key area for comprehensive urban management? The main reasons are the unification of administration, the large area of residential buildings and the cultural adaptation brought about by the rapid changes of community lifestyles. The second reason is why the urbanization of such communities is particularly long. The main reasons are the urban-rural separation of the household registration system, the urban-rural differences in the land management system, and the unplanned and densely populated villages, which are difficult to integrate into the urban areas.
