由中国材料研究学会组织召开的“全国第二届纳米材料和应用会议”,于2001年5月21～24日在杭州召开。会议得到国家有关部门以及浙江省、杭州市政府有关部门的大力支持,并获得杭州微微纳米技术有限公司等5家纳米企业赞助。来自全国各地的大学、研究院所和企业界的700余位代表到会,其中企业界约占三分之一。两院院士师昌绪、科技部基础研究词副司长马燕合、国家自然科学基金委员会工程与材料科学部副主任何鸣鸿、中国科学院固体物理所研究员张立德、中国科学院院士强伯勤、中国科协书记处书记张泽、中国科学院化学研究所研究员漆宗能、西安交通大学教授朱长纯、南京大学教授都有为、中国建材研究院研究员金宗哲等十位专家做了大会特邀报告,160余位代表做了分会报告。师昌绪院士介绍了国际国内纳米材料发展形势,赞扬了国内优秀的纳米材料研究群体,大力倡导及时将成熟的成果推向产业化,同时要反对不科学的商业炒作。马燕合和何鸣鸿分别介绍了国家纳米科技发展纲要内容和国家自然科学基金委员会十多年对纳米科技的资助情况。专家们的报告中对纳米材料的内涵、研究方向、应用范围、成果转化、产业化和最新研究进展等发表了宝贵的意见。会议还就大家关心的几个问题,如纳米材
