随着大学英语教学改革的推进和深化,ESP作为现阶段大学英语教学的趋势已被越来越多高校的关注和认可。根据对当前独立学院大学英语教学现状的分析,结合2007年修订的《大学英语课程教学要求》,提出了适合独立学院英语教学的EGP+ESP的教学模式。通过对EGP与ESP两者如何有效结合的分析,可以看出,这种教学模式符合独立学院的办学特点,符合独立学院学生的特点,有利于培养英语应用型人才。
With the promotion and deepening of college English teaching reform, ESP as the current trend of college English teaching has been more and more attention and recognition of colleges and universities. According to the analysis of the status quo of college English teaching in current independent college and the teaching requirements of college English curriculum revised in 2007, this paper puts forward the teaching mode of EGP + ESP which is suitable for independent college English teaching. By analyzing the effective combination of EGP and ESP, it can be seen that this teaching model accords with the characteristics of running an independent college, which is in line with the characteristics of independent college students, which is conducive to the development of English applied talents.
