廖蜀樵同志在本刊1962年第9期《也谈桥墩设计中的稳定问题》的第二节里,对一般桥墩的第一类稳定问题提出了新的见解:用阶形杆代替桥墩的简化计算。因一般桥墩只有一个变坡点,故代以一个两段阶形杆即可。对于墩身的台重,简化的一个集中力加在阶形杆的截面变化处,从而把一般桥墩的纵向挠曲稳定问题转化为在两个集中力作用下的阶形杆的纵向挠曲稳定问题。笔者今试提出另一种新的计算方法。其与廖文不同点是: 1.仍将桥墩化为阶形杆,但不是两段阶形杆,而是酌情分成多段阶形杆。显然,分段数
In the second section of our journal, “Stability Problems in Bridge Pier Design,” in 1962, No. 9, Comrade Liao Shu-Qiao proposed a new opinion on the first type of stability problems of ordinary piers: a simplified calculation using step poles instead of bridge piers .
