The authors’ previous studies have found that the ability of mice to form nodules in bone marrow cells changes when the dose rate of 1 to 1000 l/day is continuously irradiated at different time intervals. The dose rate was less than 50 ren/day, the number of nodule units (CFU) initially decreased and was replaced by a steady state approximately 30 days after irradiation. For steady state, the level of CFU reduction depends on the daily radiation dose rate. This article attempts to deduce the establishment and level of stable state of CFU number between 30 days and 100 days continuous irradiation, and use the mathematical formula to express the relationship between CFU number and daily irradiation dose rate.
