亨利·法约(1941—1925)是欧州国家中在管理方面最杰出的代表人物。从1888~1918年的三十年中,一直担任法国采矿和冶金联合企业“Ccmnmbault”的总经理。当初他接任总经理时,这家企业正濒临破产的境地。而当他退休离职时,企业的财经地位十分稳固,在第一次大战中,该企业作出了很大贡献。经他培养的公司人员在管理技术方面是闻名于法国的。法约把他的成功归功于他的管理理论。他不象泰罗那样去研究个别工人的劳动特点,而是着重研究经理层的管理问题。他认为管理的成功不在于个人领导,而必须应用行政管理原则。八条原则的第一条是权威,议威和责任是互相联系的,委以责任就要给予相应的权威,当然权威也
Henri Fayo (1941–1925) is the most outstanding representative of management in European countries. In the 30 years from 1888 to 1918, he had been the general manager of Ccmnmbault, a French mining and metallurgical conglomerate. When he took over as general manager, the company was on the verge of bankruptcy. When he retired, the company’s financial status was very stable. In the first war, the company made great contributions. The company personnel he cultivates are known for their management skills in France. Lawyo attributed his success to his management theory. He did not study the labor characteristics of individual workers as Taylor did, but focused on managerial issues. He believes that the success of management lies not in individual leadership but in the application of administrative principles. The first of the eight principles is authority, and the negotiation and responsibilities are linked to each other. To stipulate responsibilities, we must give corresponding authority. Of course, the authority is also
