Human epidermal growth factor (hEGF) is a class of single-chain low-molecular-weight peptides (M6.045) found in many human body fluids. Many evidences show that both normal and cancerous cells proliferate and are related to epidermal growth factor growth regulation system, which can promote proliferation and differentiation of various tissues and stimulate the synthesis of DNA and protein, as well as shorten the cell Gl / G0 phase , To accelerate its biological activity to S phase transformation. At present, many experiments show that the change of hEGF is closely related to the occurrence and development of tumors in vivo. We analyzed 123 cases of oral and maxillofacial tumors, precancerous lesions and inflammation of saliva in patients with EGF content and preliminary study hEGF as a tumor marker in the oral and maxillofacial tumor clinical application of the feasibility of the report is as follows.
