Rolling heat treatment to improve the overall mechanical properties of steel has a significant effect. In this paper, the toughness of 20MnSi rolled HRC steel bars and that of normal hot-rolled steel bars are compared to investigate the effect of post-rolling heat treatment process on the plastic toughness of steel bars.
