据交通部预测,“十一五”期末全国公路网总里程将达到230万km,所有具备通车条件的乡镇与建制村通公路,县乡公路达到185万km。全国高速公路通车里程达到5.5万km。截止2005年,全国公路总里程为190万km,高速公路超过3.5万km。这就意味着五年新增公路里程40万km,高速公路2万km。200 According to the forecast by the Ministry of Communications, the total mileage of the national road network will reach 2.3 million km by the end of the “Eleventh Five-year Plan” period.
