《全日制小学语文教学大刚》要求“逐步指导学生修改自己的作文”,《全日制中学语文教学大刚》更强调“要有计划地培养学生自己修改文章时习惯和能力,可指导他们自己修改,或组织他们互相修改。”这要求完全是正确的。任何教学的最终目的都在于学生“自会”,而“自会”出于“自悟”;这件事任何教师都代替不了。占往今来事实上从来如此:文章总是靠自己(学生)写好的,而不是老师“改”好的;学生要写好,首先必须学会自改。而单靠教师辛勤批改作文,往往事与愿违,许多学生并不认真阅看、钻研,徒事无效劳动或低效劳动而已。
