INDIVIDUALIZATION OF TREATMENT AND SYNDROME DIFFERENTIATION　　The condition of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is quite complicated, it invades various organs and tissues, the crux of the disorder is always chang ing, hence treatment should be changed individually, which conforms to the p rinciple and spirit of syndrome differentiation. There are two obvious character istics in syndrome differentiation: the first is the holistic viewpoint, stressing on the intal harmonization, not just treating it locally only, not “treat the head when the head aches, treat the foot when th e foot hurts”; the second is dynamic vie wpoint, the disease is developing, the key point of treatment should be different when the same disease has developed to different stages, one cannot stick to one prescription; one should use different treatment to diffe rent individuals and different lesions.
