Lancelot, Guinevere, Excalibur are a group of gas fields developed mainly on horizontal wells. Horizontal well data and their interpretation of these fields are combined with vertical well data to evaluate the target area and to enhance reservoir description. Late-stage reservoir quality changes and aeolian facies can be explained based on horizontal well cores. Downhole imaging and conventional electrical logging are used to identify the lithofacies, record the late extension and location of the interbedded layers of wind-dune deposits, characterize diagenetic trends, and locate fractures in the un-coring sections of horizontal wells. As a whole, the main facies traversed by these horizontal wells are: aeolian dunes, invaders, and rivers into the re-deposited marine facies. In some wells cementation and obvious slits appear, the former being natural fractures and the latter due to drilling
