我国焊管由于焊管坯的供应缺口大,其产量只有机组能力的1/4左右,而且焊接钢管的品种很不齐全,远远不能满足国民经济发展的需要。采用小卷或短带作焊管坯料是我国焊管生产的特点之一,其中约占60％的机组是采用单条短热扎窄带,而小卷或短带尺寸精度差,边部不整齐,镰刀弯过大,带材软硬不均,化学成份不匀,机械性能也不稳定。鉴于宽带钢热连轧机建设投资大,周期长,且当需要的批量小,品种规格多时,连轧机提供这种焊管坯料会有较大的困难,为此,提出发挥行星轧机的优势生产焊管坯,以期在较短的时间内解决焊管坯的数量和质量以及品种等问题,使焊管生产有一个较快的发展。
