随着语言文化的发展,汉英基本颜色词的意义也从原来表示某种单纯的颜色而引申出许多新的意义。本文以黄色和绿色为例,分析了汉英颜色词的文化内涵及其异同之处。
With the development of language and culture, the meaning of the basic color words in Chinese and English has also drawn many new meanings from the original expression of a simple color. Taking yellow and green as examples, this paper analyzes the cultural connotation of the color words in Chinese and English and their similarities and differences.
