刑事诉讼法是规范刑事诉讼活动的基本法律,关乎公权力的配置与私权利的保障。随着人们法律意识的提高,现代刑事诉讼越来越注重人权保障和程序正当,其程序设置和制度构建也越来越精密。随着社会的发展,我国近年来刑事犯罪也呈现出了一些新的变化,因此新刑诉法便应运而生。本次新刑诉法的修改幅度较大,其中关于“简易程序”的修改是一大亮点,以下是笔者对简易程序适用的几点思考: Criminal Procedure Law is the basic law to regulate the activities of criminal procedure, which is related to the disposition of public power and protection of private rights.
