2014年2月21日,东旭集团四川旭虹光电科技有限公司高铝盖板玻璃生产启动仪式在绵阳市经开区旭虹光电厂区举行。旭虹光电高铝盖板玻璃项目的启动,是东旭在成功实现PDP玻璃基板国产化后,再次进军高端平板显示玻璃的又一重大举措,旭虹光电本次启动生产的高铝盖板玻璃是制造触摸屏的上游主要原材料,主要用于笔记本电脑、平板电脑、智能手机、GPS等。
